Originally introduced by AMT/Ertl in 1997, this beautiful little 1962 Chevrolet Impala SS Convertible model kit features many exciting details such as reproduction stamped wheel covers, fluted wheel covers, 409 cubic inch Chevrolet V-8 and a fully detailed interior.  This AMT model kit also features molded gas tank, complete exhaust, realistic wheels and tires, opening hood, accurate body details, and interior with textured seats. 

Also included with this AMT kit are full color water-slide decals for that extra bit of realism. This AMT kit includes easy to follow instructions to guide you through the assembly. For a winning look the experts highly recommend paint, and you will need glue to complete this AMT model kit. 

This model kit is skill level 2, recommended for ages 10 and above.
